The Confirmation Class of St. James’ Church in Port aux Basques just completed their Stewardship Project, raising a total of $2,230. Each student was given $5 to come up with an idea to use to raise money. Students gave $100 to the Gatway Women’s Centre, $100 to Salvation Army Food Bank and $2,030 to PWRDF (Primate’s World Relief Development Fund), where the money will be used to purchase 2 cows, 2 goats, a whole farm, and a hand pump well in Kenya.
