PORT AUX BASQUES – Sou’wesDelta Waterfowl has installed signage and collection baskets at Grand Bay West beach in an effort to help keep it clean and protect the environment. Mark Lomond said that Sou’wes Delta Waterfowl plans to install another three signs along the Coastangs Trail soon.
“These three will be reminding people there are hunters in the area from September to March, so that nobody gets startled or caught off guard out there if they see a person with a gun or hear a gunshot. They will know they are still safe.”
